Pain is a very real and very complex experience unique to each person.
Pain significantly impacts all aspects of a person, Mind, Body and Soul.
Research has shown that simply learning about this modern pain science can improve the experience of pain.
We will explore the following questions:
What is pain and why do we experience it?
What is the difference between acute and chronic pain?
How does the nervous system produce pain?
What happens to us when pain persists?
How can we change pain?
How can Yoga help?
Through her experience as a physical therapist and professional yoga therapist Heidi will dispel some large misconceptions related to pain and explore various tools to help those in pain.

A deposit is required to hold your spot. Deposits are not refundable. Cancelations up to 30 days prior to the event may be issued a credit with Empowered Yoga to be used towards a different program. Unfortunately we are unable to issue a credit or refund the deposit within 30 days of the event. Certificates of completion may be issued upon the successful completion of the requirements above.
