The world health organization has 8 of the top 10 causes of death listed as lifestyle diseases and the main contributer to lifestyle diseases is chronic stress. Evolution cannot keep up with the rapid increases in technology and lifestyle demands and this is taking its toll on our biology. As a society we have become sympathetically tunned, in a constant state of fight and flight, which further disconnects, alienates and disrupts the intellgence of the body leading to weight gain, anxiety, chronic fatigue, low libido, digestive disturbamces, heart disease and imbalance. D
Doing less and being more is a health secret. During deep relaxation, all the organ systems of the body are benefited through the rest and digest cycle of the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing the effect of chronic stress improving: blood pressure, sleep, digestion, sex, fertility, insomnia, adrenal fatigue, immune response, muscle tension, pain and more.
The restorative practice is a completely propped class that allows the deep tissues of the body to unravel in safe and supported way. Self myofascial release techniques (rolling) will also be incorperated inorder to deeply relax and unravel the tissues. Following the restorative postures you will be guided through a yoga nidra session.

A deposit is required to hold your spot. Deposits are not refundable. Cancelations up to 30 days prior to the event may be issued a credit with Empowered Yoga to be used towards a different program. Unfortunately we are unable to issue a credit or refund the deposit within 30 days of the event. Certificates of completion may be issued upon the successful completion of the requirements above.
