Exploring and feeling autonomy over your body can be scary and dissociating after sexual trauma. We can feel safe gain in our own bodies. Exploring breath, movement and experiencing ourselves again should be approached safely and slowly. In this workshop trauma informed principles are used to guide participants through safe, autonomous exploration of the body, choice making and self-validation.
Participants in the Trauma Sensitive Yoga for PTSD may use this course as an additional 2.5 CEU
A deposit is required to hold your spot. Deposits are not refundable. Cancelations up to 30 days prior to the event may be issued a credit with Empowered Yoga to be used towards a different program. Unfortunately we are unable to issue a credit or refund the deposit within 30 days of the event. Certificates of completion may be issued upon the successful completion of the requirements above.
