Enlighten Up: Fascia and Rolling Course
Learn how to effectively integrate rolling into your yoga and movement classes. Improve proprioception, unravel tension, and reduce pain with simple and accessible tools like balls and foam rollers.
We will begin our journey at the surface of the body and layer by layer, tissue by tissue, sensation by sensation deepen our understanding and ultimately our connection with the miraculous temple that holds the self.
We will explore the world of fascia, the web that holds us together and tells our story, through various modalities including, movement, myo-fascial release, rolling, prop placement, visualization, and meditation. We will also study myo-fascial meridians (Anatomy Trains) how they apply to yoga as well as look at common injuries, habits and overuse “symptoms” associated with these specific lines of the body and how we can use yoga therapeutically treat these imbalances.
